Hi, I’m Christine Anne

I am an Australian artist living in rural Queensland. After many years of caring for others in busy healthcare settings, I turned to art as a way to pause, breathe and slow down. I now create patterned designs for textiles, stationery, homewares and giftware.

Art & Design Work

My signature artwork and designs bring together a free-spirited, modern country aesthetic with playful pops of colour and a touch of vintage charm. Each piece is created to evoke a sense of ease, nostalgia, and connection. A modern reflection of simpler times shared with family, friends, and those we hold close.

The Artistic Process

I spend time creating almost every day.

My art practice is a mix of embroidery, weaving, drawing and painting. I love working with simple materials such as thread, paper, ink and paint letting textures, colour and pattern guide me as I bring a piece to life. Some days I stitch fine lines onto paper or weave soft fibres together. Other days I draw or paint, layering shapes and blending colour.

From there, I often bring my work into the digital space, turning it into art prints and repeat patterns in Adobe Illustrator, ready to become textiles, stationery, or homewares that carry a little piece of that creative calm into everyday life.

The artist behind the work…

I live with my family in a small, rural town located in South West Queensland - Charleville, Australia. Where we have fallen in love with the vibrant red dirt and lively country spirit demonstrated throughout our community.

In 2019, I launched my creative business as an artist, designer, and educator. Combining my love for community with my passion for creativity.

Through my work, I aim to create art that inspires connection and to share the joy of making with others. I’m excited to see where this journey continues to lead and the stories it will help me tell along the way.
